Back to the Philippines

Just a quick update: The countdown to August 2008 will still be the same although now August will be the trial scouting trip instead of the actual moving trip. Since we are still waiting for confirmation on new projects that we will be working with MrC’s client by end of this month we could not schedule the trip May or June but most probably it will be August where we will do the scouting trip.

Also, I have sent an email to my family members asking for business advice and referrals. We definitely need to consult a tax professional and someone to help us with our paperwork. My mom can probably help us with the paperwork most likely but with regards to tax matters we need extra help.

As of now, we dream of actually living in Baguio City. I have been researching a bit on this area and we plan to spend more time there on our visit. But of course, we need to know if we can find skilled IT people to work with us and willing to live there too and if housing is not an issue. Right now also, I am sure I will apply for retention of my citizenship as soon as we come back from our first trip and if the first trip was successful. Then we would plan a move by end of this year.
