This week we have made announcements to several people about our plans to go back to the Philippines. My supervisor already knows about this but this week I have asked him whether our General Manager also knows about my plans and he confirmed that the GM knows about it too. I feel much better and more “responsible” knowing that I am giving them enough notice and I assured them that when things became more sure and we have bought airplane tickets they’ll be notified accordingly. Also, I finally told my aunt from the Philippines who e-mails me regularly about our plans to go in August. I am curious to know her thoughts on this. During a phone call to my sister, she also asked me if our plans are still pushing through and I confirmed to her it is still going on as planned. Last night, we attended MrC’s friend’s birthday party and we finally told it to all of his close friends who were there. We even told them that we are planning a going away party before we leave. So yes, this makes us even feel even more sure about it now that we have announced it to everyone we know.

Too bad we couldn’t be in ‘Bulacan’ at the same time. When in August?
We usually don’t let our stay go past 6th as I don’t want to get stuck with ‘bagyo’ season. I’m looking at between 4th & 6th depending on availability of tickets. I know I should get started booking our tickets since June-Aug. fall on busy travel months.

Hi, Mixxy…good talking to you [hehehe]. I mean June 23 probably. As soon as Larry is out, June 19 and the whole of July will be a good time…then it will be busy time planning to come back here, I hope.
